The Dutch premium manufacturer is a gem in terms of its ambiance and the quality of its products. What makes De Olifant cigars unique worldwide is the fact that each format has its own specific blend. De Olifant’s special manufacturing process allows for the combination of up to 20 different tobaccos in a single cigar. Like an alchemist in a laboratory, the blender can thus “season” the cigar. Each individual tobacco variety contributes its own characteristics, such as spiciness, sweetness, and freshness, to the cigar. The crowning touch: the wrapper. All three lines use the rare, original Sumatra sand leaf, whose taste and aroma are unsurpassed. As Managing Director Thomas Klaphake explains, “We have always adhered to the principle that an outstanding cigar needs a special wrapper.”
