Meerschaum is a mineral substance with a special structure of countless small pores. These make it highly absorbent, especially for condensate during smoking, eliminating the need for filters. Meerschaum is fireproof and tasteless. At the end of the production process, the meerschaum pipe is dipped in liquid beeswax. This wax bath ensures that the pipe bowl changes color when smoked.

Smoking and care

• Smoking the Meerschaum pipe is no longer necessary
• Smoking too hot will cause the wax in the pipe bowl to sink to the bottom and the pipe bowl will not color evenly.
• Do not place the meerschaum pipe on cool surfaces while smoking, as sudden cooling can cause cracks in the pipe bowl.
