For the powerful Ashton VSG Virgin Sun Grown series, only leaves from the upper harvest sections are selected that have received a lot of sun. The blend is assembled by Carlos Fuente Jr. from Dominican tobaccos matured for four to five years. The cover page is drawn in Ecuador exclusively for the VSG series. The result is ashton’s typical perfect match of complexity and character. The Cigar Journal described the cigar as follows: “If you are looking for full-bodied cigars and an intoxicating taste experience with a complex, long finish, you will find exactly that in the Ashton VSG. (…) It’s a consummate cigar that beats a peacock wheel of aromas on the palate.” The VSG line, which has been awarded several times with “Brilliant”, was also awarded the Cigar Trophy (best cigar from the Dominican Republic).
