The Trinidad was shrouded in mystery until just a few years ago, when it was finally launched in early 1998. Previously, it had been given to Fidel Castro so that he could use it as an exclusive gift for state guests after the Cohiba had been made accessible to the public in the eighties. The excellent pull and the perfect fire behaviour of the Trinidad are an indication of the great quality of the design of this brand.
